Hytrel? combines the flexibility of rubber with the mechanical strength and processability of thermoplastics.
DuPont Hytrel? TPC-ET thermoplastic elastomer is a versatile copolyester. It combines elasticity, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and strength and durability.
Parts made with Hytrel? thermoplastic elastomer resin can bend in multiple directions, cyclically twist back and forth multiple times, and the same rubber product may fail. A good example is a constant velocity universal joint (CVJ) shield, an automotive component that withstands an average of 150,000 miles of severe impact and a wide range of temperatures.
